Hello. My name is Katherine Damron. I am currently a senior at Lee University about to graduate in May with a Communication Studies major and Spanish, Music, and Religion minors. (Yes, I am somehow graduating in four years.) While I do not know the road ahead of me after graduation, I am looking forward to what God has in store. I must confess to being a word-nerd. Linguistics fascinates me. There is so much power in the words that we speak. Many of my blogs will focus on the effects of language in our communication. In a world where we are surrounded by negative, I hope to write about the things that are uplifting and full of joy-whether in world events or in my own life. I sincerely hope those who read are blessed and encouraged by what is posted.
